v2.4.1 currentpatch

Shield v2, and a look under the hood.

Security
  • Nova Shield v2: refreshed drainer and approval screening — updated heuristics for approve, permit and setApprovalForAll abuse, plus lookalike spender contracts.
  • Threat-list format bumped to v2. Lists remain signed data evaluated on-device — never a remote kill switch.
New
  • Reproducible-build manifest card in the app’s Why Nova view — compare the published SHA-256 against the build you are actually running, without leaving the wallet.
  • Vault-door visual anchors the rebuilt Why Nova screen, and a local-execution ticker shows on-device work — validation, derivation, signing — as it happens.
Improved
  • Why Nova view reorganized: Shield explainer, key-derivation diagram and manifest verifier now share a single scroll.
Fixed
  • Phrase grid no longer loses input focus when toggling between 12- and 24-word entry.
  • Chain selector no longer overlaps the wallet search field at narrow window widths.
v2.4.0 minor

Points make the wallet.

New
  • Nova Points: weekly Friday drops, earned automatically from swap activity — no staking, no lock-ups.
  • Referrals: a fixed point bonus per invite plus a 12-month share of invitee swap fees.
Improved
  • Rewards view gained a live drop-status badge and per-week settlement history.
Fixed
  • Points balance no longer shows a stale total after a weekly drop settles.
v2.3.2 patch

104 ways in.

Improved
  • Import coverage extended to 104 wallets — per-wallet metadata and iconography refreshed across the board.
New
  • Chain-chips rewards rail: per-chain reward multipliers with live status dots, straight on the Rewards view.
Fixed
  • Wallets sharing a name prefix no longer swap icons in search results.
  • Private-key fields detect format earlier, so fewer imports need a manual chain pick.
v2.3.0 minor

Import, rebuilt properly.

Security
  • Air-gapped input layer rewritten: secret entry runs in an isolated context that shares no state with rendering or dapp layers — phrases and keys never reach the DOM, the clipboard, or a network-capable code path.
Improved
  • Universal import rebuilt around per-chain key formats — hex, base58 and seed-phrase paths are now validated independently.
  • Checksum feedback states what failed — wordlist entry vs. final checksum — instead of one generic error.
Fixed
  • Toggling 12/24-word mode now clears cached validation state from the previous length.
v2.2.0 minor

Nothing to phone home about.

Security
  • Zero-telemetry enforcement: the release binary ships with zero outbound analytics endpoints — enforced in the build, packet-verifiable on the wire.
  • Threat-list updates now ship as signed data blobs; unsigned or tampered lists are rejected at load.
New
  • Transaction feed privacy mode: mask amounts and counterparties in local views — display only, signing unaffected.
Improved
  • RPC endpoint list is now fully inspectable and user-replaceable — block every Nova domain and the wallet still works.
v2.1.0 minor

Meet Nova Shield.

Security
  • First signed threat list: known drainer addresses and honeypot bytecode patterns, flagged locally before signing.
New
  • Nova Shield v1: every transaction is screened pre-sign — approval scope, spender reputation and recipient risk decoded before you commit.
  • Plain-English warnings for approve, permit and setApprovalForAll: what is being approved, how much, and to whom.
Improved
  • Connect modal now states exactly what a site can see — your public address and chain ID, nothing more.
v2.0.0 major

Open by default.

Security
  • Independent audit of the BIP-39/32 key-derivation path completed ahead of the open-source drop.
New
  • Nova’s core is open source — read the code that holds your keys.
  • Reproducible builds: a deterministic pipeline produces byte-for-byte artifacts you can rebuild locally.
  • Signed release manifest: SHA-256 of every artifact, published with each release.
Improved
  • Secrets now live in locked, non-pageable buffers — locking the wallet zeroes every key byte.
v1.9.0 minor

Every chain, one flat fee.

New
  • 120+ chain coverage — EVM and non-EVM networks in a single window.
  • In-app swaps at a flat 0.3% fee — no tiers, no spread markup.
Improved
  • Portfolio guard ships on by default: spam-token filtering and dust-attack detection keep balances clean.
Fixed
  • Balance refresh no longer flickers on networks with sub-second block times.
Verify

Run the latest. Verify it first.

Every artifact above is reproducible from public source. Compare the SHA-256 of the build in your hands against the signed manifest — trust is earned, not claimed.
